INTRODUCTION TO EVENTING/HORSE TRIALS DAY

(Ideal if you would like to be considered for the Area Horse Trials qualifier 70cm at Walton on the Hill  – new this year!)

The day will consist of a dressage test ridden on grass, and judged with a written test sheet commenting on the movements of the test. The test will be sent out in advance to learn and a you tube link to refer to, so members can watch the test being ridden.

There will be a round of show jumps on grass, with coursewalking advice given, followed by feedback from an instructor and a second round to implement the feedback

Finally there will be a cross-country schooling session in small groups, looking at technique, balance and rhythm in this phase.

There may be an opportunity for xc schooling only, if demand dictates-please email back to register interest
