
Melissa is an international dressage rider based in Barns Green. She has been riding since the age of 9 and represented Great Britain in Junior European Championships from 2007 – 2009. In 2009 she became second rider for international Grand Prix rider Sarah Millis. In 2010 she made the big jump from juniors to young riders when she was reserve for the Young Rider European Team. In 2016 she started up her own business Valewood Dressage in West Sussex and gives dressage lessons from Novice to Advanced. She is working with Pony Clubs and Riding Clubs and is a trainer for British Dressage Youth Southern.
This session will be of most use to Members wanting to improve their pony or horses’ way of going and wishing to learn how to encourage impulsion whilst maintaining balance and rhythm.
If you want to improve your dressage riding, either for competing, or for developing a better working relationship with your pony or horse you should attend this training.
