however here is a quick outline for you….
GETTING READY TO FILM – don’t forget your riding gloves!
The person videoing needs to be standing behind C, holding your phone landscape (if the video
is in portrait you will loose 2 marks) and zooming in at the A end of the school. Please don’t
zoom too much, you still need to be able to see the whole width of the arena.
You need to be in a marked arena with correct measurements either on grass or in a school
Ask your ‘filmer’ (kindly) to try their hardest to keep you in the centre of the screen at all times
The video must have sound (if it does not your test will still be marked but you will be HC) you
may have a caller for the test but you may not have training help.
Your video must have NO cuts. It must start at least 2 seconds before the rider enters at A and
preferably 4 seconds after the rider salutes at the end.
Either you or the person videoing your test MUST VERBALLY introduce your test with your
name, horses name, the test you are riding and ‘Cobham & Wimbledon April Show’
UPLOADING YOUR TEST
A – FACEBOOK – Upload your video straight to the FB event
(https://www.facebook.com/events/1274794976039419/) – Make sure you label the video with
riders name, horses name and test your riding!
B – YouTube – Upload your video to YouTube and then either post the link on the Facebook
event page or email it to susie@e-riders.co.uk. I like this way as at the end of the year you will
easily be able to look back over all of your videos! If you want the video to remain private, please
use the UNLISTED option.
C – WeTransfer – Upload your video at https://e-riders.wetransfer.com (your video will stay
private from the public). Please make sure you put in the description your details and test ridden.
