2pm – 2.45pm Mini Yard Safety Achievement Badge

This badge is for any member under 8 years old.  The session will be 45mins long and will create awareness of the appropriate way to act on a yard with a number of ponies to ensure safety and welfare of both ponies and other people.

2.45pm – 3.45pm Yard Safety Achievement Badge

This badge is for members over 8 years old.  The session will be 1 hour long and will cover building knowledge of the appropriate behaviour & awareness required when on a yard with a number of ponies to ensure safety and welfare of both ponies and other people.

Cost: £7.50

3.45pm – 4.45pm C Test Stable Management

In this session we will cover the following areas of the C test syllabus:

• Main indications of health in the pony.
• Clean minor wounds and knowing when wounds need medical attention.
• Recognising lameness.

Clothing: Please wear suitable yard attire.  You must also bring a riding hat, gloves and boots.
