Save the date- Mini/Junior Camp

This years Mini and Junior Camp is being held at new venue Hoes Farm by kind permission of Sophie Burrell.

All being well with Covid rules we are really excited to be able to run several fun filled days for children under 12 years of age.

Provisional information-

Mini Camp will be – Thursday 29^th, Friday 30^th and Saturday 31^st

This tends to be a shorter day for children under 8 years of age from lead rein to just off who can jump small jumps independently.

Junior Camp will run- Thursday 29^th, Friday 30^th, Saturday 31^st and 1^st August.

For children 8-12 years of age.

We are hoping to run under a similar format as previous years where all children will be on site throughout day, they will have two rides a day with their group, lunchtime Stable Management and get to swim.

The main changes for this year will be that we will not be providing lunch for Junior camp and ALL riders and families attending will be required to bring lunch. There will also be no overnight stay for ponies.

Hoes is a beautiful safe environment for children of this age and will be able to provide many fun and exciting experiences for members who will really benefit from having something to aim for this Summer after the last year of being so limited with their riding. We have been so lucky for so many years to be able to hold Mini and Junior Camp at Balcombe Estate and are hoping that we can develop Hoes into a similar venue. Closer to the time we will be advertising work party days and we will require parents to show their support and offer help setting up for this event, so please do not be shy about coming forwards.

Unfortunately until we know more about Covid rules for the Summer we are leaving the exact details to what the day to day running of camp will be like, but can assure you the venue has the space and scope for members to have a wonderful few days with their ponies and friends.

Costs-

Mini Camp -£80

Junior Camp- £120

Tickets are open on the website with a fully refundable deposit (if Covid prevents us running) of £50. Ideally we would like to close entries on May 1^st so we know numbers attending.

Full details of day to day running will be emailed to you at the beginning of June.

Full payment by mid June (date TBC).

Confirmed details of running of camp will be emailed to you first week of July.
